Something interesting… When adults are as inquisitive as children we call them "noisy". "Oh Johnny don't be noisy" "Jenny stop asking questions". However I have met a few people who KNOW how to be inquisitive. What I mean by that is to innocently ask questions about the other person with true attentiveness. That's what children do. We've heard the saying "lean in", well being inquisitive as a child is to "Lean In" when they are speaking. Everyone loves to talk with her. My husband (Steven) is the same way. He asks inquisitive questions and people enjoy speaking with him. He truly cares about the answers people give him. Next time you are with people you know or even don't know, take a Childlike Step and become inquisitive about them.
