Accept yourself and others where you/they are at, and move forward. Too many times in groups, we get to know each other so well that when a new member joins, we don't give them a chance because we are looking back at how things were, the culture we created before this person arrived or what we became comfortable with before this newest member. This could be family (new in-law), teams (new player or coach), organizations (new volunteer or captain), groups (new staff or director). Live according to where you are moving forward (as a group) and not from previous success or failure. Get It Together….Together is the outcome of acceptance for one another in what you collectively bring to the group.
